Custom rubber stamp

Way back then when I'm working in a library I used to just validate the students library cards with only using a pen for my signatures but it takes so much of time. Using a custom rubber stamp instead makes less work to do the job. It's very easy to use and remarkable on a large volume of stamping. These days they have different kinds of products out there in the market to choose from which amazes me. There are so many designs which make your work a lot easier.

Jarred got sick again

I woke up at 2 o'clock this morning and felt my son's burning body. He was fine that day and this morning he had a fever and he is also coughing. Is this some kind of a delayed reaction from getting a virus from anyone whom he got contacts with? We seldom get out of the house to go places unless going to a grocery shopping with him. I gave him children’s Tylenol for his fever but it kept him awake for 2 hours and of course mommy. So he grabbed his book one by one and brought it to mommy so mommy can read him stories. From Dr. Seuss books, Tish Sommers "big bird goes to the doctor", Disney's The Lion king, and Mickey’s Birthday Surprise we got them all. He liked mommy reading these books to him over and over again. Those are his favorites. He gets tired at last and falls asleep on mommy's arm. Thank goodness because I needed that for the next day's energy.

Amazon books

In these day and age with the Internet it's so extremely helpful for the search engine. When husband and I were building a house and the contractor mentioned to us that if we did some of the work ourselves we could save thousands of dollars. So besides doing all the painting we took on most of the plumbing drain work. We searched the Internet and found at Amazon books, two books for doing our own plumbing. It turned out perfect. So happy for the books that we received. Thanks amazon.

Snow much fun

It was a perfect day so we go out on our snow mobile and headed outback on the woods and we ended up on our property line in a swampy area. It's so cool when the water on the swamp had turned into ice so we hopped out of the snowmobile and we sat down. We played on the ice pushing Jarred back and forth, back and forth on the ice while sitting down. But as he try to stand up we were laughing because he couldn't even make it to stand up straight because he would fall down on his knees. It's so much fun for us. I regret not having a camera with me to capture the moment.

Westgate

This years Valentines Day is on Saturday the 14th of February. How would you celebrate your valentines day? Maybe dinner out, watch a movie, or maybe go to a special places that you never been to like the popular Westgate resorts and treat your loved one to an experience that will be remembered forever. Must have been a very lucky day to everyone because valentines day falls on a weekened where everybody is free from long days of work. For us having dinner out would be a great idea to spend our valentines day.

It could happen to you

This story sounds stupid but you know it could happen to you. I've already experienced this just this morning which might make you laugh. (wink) This morning I open the cupboard and my favorite dried small fish (commonly known as dilis in Tagalog). For us it's one of the palatable food most commonly liked especially when mixed in with tomatoes or some deeping sauce. I like vinegar with a hot pepper on it as a deeping sauce. The smell of the "dilis" lingered inside the house so to avoid this I heated up the cooking oil and put the dried "dilis" on it and then brought it outdoors to continue cooking that way the foul odor doesn't linger in the house. I took a chance while everybody is gone.

Going back to the topic, I cooked it outdoors with the lid on to cook it quickly. Thinking that it's done, I waited until it cools down but keeping the lid closed. By bringing it back to the kitchen, I think was a little too soon because as soon as take the lid off I stick my nose on it without thinking. You know what happened? I instantly had this big, big wicked headache, I get dizzy at the same time and I thought I will pass out.

I had a brain freeze and I couldn't breath. I thought I've seen lots of stars around me. I also thought I'd lost my oxygen! (lol!) Heck! I was so terrified so I ran in the faucet washing my nose repeatedly with the flowing water. Apparently, the air inside the pot where I cooked the fish was trapped and when I opened it it exploded right into my nose! Oh my goodness that was really terrible. I learned a lesson from this one. Don't stick your nose into the food that you were cooking right from the cooking pot.

Lipovox

In today's world numerous diet supplements are already out there in the market. Reading the ingredients of them doesn't really helped my friend out in choosing the best product. She even once said to me that it could have been much easier then when she knew about this Lipovox. They call it "super foods" supplement where it helped in losing weight quickly plus it's more inexpensive capsule compared to the other ones she was taking. It is worth trying she said and glad she followed her intuition.

Remembering the good times

I know that all you can see here are pictures and mostly videos of our family but for us it's worth it because of the moments that we spend time together. This video was taken about a year ago when we were snow sliding down our little hill out back. When I looked at this video the memory is still so fresh like it was happened only yesterday. Just sharing guys.

Light bulbs

Having too many people in the house, it costs more for electrical bills that have been used for each month. Generally we normally used lighting fixtures that matched up on every room in our house. But energy bills came up higher than we usually expect after we rented down both apartments. Switching to 10 watt neolite twist compact fluorescent light bulbs reduced the energy. Aside from making the room brighter this kind of light bulbs are energy efficient which solved our problem.

Missing remote control

Every time we wanted to turn on the TV it always takes time to find the remote. It is frustrating when you wanted to just watch your favorite show and relax but can't find the missing remote control. One time, it took months before we found the remote control of our DVD player after we tore apart our house including our sons' toy box. It was accidentally mixed in with his toys. Now as much as possible we kept it just above the entertainment center where it can't be reached out by our son.

Steam cleaner

It's so convenient! I gave my husband a kiss goodbye in the morning and then it's time for the mommy to attack the house. Between my little one spilling things all over the place you think my husband would learn how to make a cup of coffee that wasn't too full. He can't make it across the room without spilling it. I just feel so thankful for the presents that my mother in law gave me. The steam cleaner are the best gift in the world as far as I'm concerned. It's just that inside feeling that you've done a great job and everything is so much cleaner. Thank you Mom.

Luxury hotel rooms

Mixed emotions are what I felt on my very first flight to come over. Sad, happy, excited, scared you name it. It was a very long trip for me about 31 hour flight from the country where I came from aside from being stuck for a day in another country on a layover because of the technical problem of the airplane where I board. On the other hand there was some advantage after the management decided to put us in a luxury hotel rooms until they fixed the plane. The hotel is very nice, the foods are superb. It was really great and it's entirely a new experience for me.

I had an accident

Can you imagine me doing a free fall just outside our doorstep this evening? We were leaving to go to my husband's work because of an emergency call. Picture this. I had my bag on my left arm with a lap top inside of it. I decided to bring it with me just in case I get bored at least I had something to play with. On my right hand is the key. After locking the door I turned around and took one step then suddenly whammmm! My right hip landed on the icy ground using my right hand at the same time for support. I lay down there for a few minutes examining myself if I am badly hurt. Nope I'm okay just a little sore from the impact. I remember my brand new laptop that was on my arm I realized it was thrown away about a couple of feet from me. Thank goodness my brand new laptop is okay! (lol)

Fat burner pills

The day I came home from the hospital after giving birth to my 6 lbs 3 ounces baby boy seems to be a struggle for me to lose my weight. From 87 lbs. I gained 24 lbs and after my son was born I followed the rules to exercise but every time I stood in front of the mirror I looked at the reflection and started to get impatient of the result. I even thought of using fat burner pills to speed up the result. But after months and months of doing my routine I am happy to realize that 97 lbs is not bad at all.

Got stuck with our snow mobile

Riding a snow mobile is so much fun but there are some unexpected things happened sometimes just like what we have experienced the other day. We followed the trails from our house and going back we decided to take a shortcut to the farm. We turned around and apparently our weight are so heavy between me, Jarred, and my husband along with the 300 lbs snow mobile. We got stuck on the snow with our snowmobile . It took about fifteen minutes to fix our problem. Daddy lifted up the end of the snow mobile and turned it around to direct the machine on the area with the packed snow so we can get back to the track. Haaayz...Thank goodness we made it. Rule of advice, don't get stuck in the snow with your snow mobile, it's so cold out there and it spoils your trip.
