Intelligence

Wednesday, December 23, 2009

We've all used the word intelligence and in many different ways. You know you run into some young adults that have an impeccable intelligence but the ones that don't have so much far out way the ones with. My husband wants to start a class and call it common sense 101. He wants to put the blame on society and the parents of these young adults. He's just disgusted with most of the younger generations. But on the other hand I mentioned to him, we had bought a fake mouse for the cats. The cats just lay there and look at the mouse then look at us as, we're the stupid ones. It's funny though twenty years ago. Our cats then ripped those same fake mice in half 'till there was nothing left. So I think at least the intelligence of our cats has evolved in a positive way. They're not as dumb anymore.

Panama city hotels

Thursday, December 10, 2009

Are you planning to go on your dream vacation? If you want to experience one of the best places to go you might want to check on a destination like Panama where you can find the best white sand beaches. I stumbled on a site that tells you the best deals where you book your panama city hotels online. Visiting Panama is one of my dreams, who knows maybe Santa will grant my wish this holiday season.

Recyclables

It's hard to believe how much our society waste. If you think about it as you throw something in your trash bag almost everything can be recycled. When you ask yourself this question just reverse it ask what can't be recycled. What? A dirty paper towel or maybe a meat tray. Ninety eight percent of our garbage is not garbage but a recyclable. Try it for a week and you'll see you'll have maybe two bags of garbage and four bags of recyclables. You'll feel better about yourself.

Modern furniture

Saturday, December 5, 2009

What's on your wish list? This season give your love ones a gift that will put a savvy upgrade to your home. Surely, modern furniture will create that holiday memory to everyone. When I asked my other half what he would like for Christmas he paused and thought for a while then turned to me and said "I don't know". Thank goodness I still have twenty days 'till Christmas to think about what present to get for him.

Parental control on your PC

Friday, December 4, 2009

Better safe than sorry. Setting up your childrens parental authority on your PC is so important. It's the first thing you should do when you started up. Parental controls can take sometime as we found out every site that you would like them to go to you have to enter your pass code as the parent. So if there's twenty different sites you have to go there first and approve it or they're locked out.

Books

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

Never ending books. A lot of things in life come and go in our house. Rugs wear out you replace them. The couch gets old and out the door it goes. Upgrade the husband once in a while (hehe). But my books remain. I read some books three times over a period of years. Whenever I walk by one of my book shelves, my eyes wandered towards the shelf. For whatever reason my mind sums up the book all over again. A lot of times bringing a smile to my face. Sometimes a shiver to my bones.

Jarred's biggest dreams

Jarred our son thought that all of his dreams had come true today. We woke up early and decided to go to the big toy store. We were going to leave him at the baby sitter, the baby sitter is another half an hour round trip so we took him with us. After the first ten minutes he couldn't stand being in the cart so we let him out. He was investigating everything. I want this I want that was the most popular words. We just kept on telling him "oh yes Jarred you can ask Santa Claus for that". He was good with this and moved on to the next toy to investigate. What a great little guy.

Adipex diet pills

Friday, November 27, 2009

At last, finally someone has done what I've basically been doing over the years but I'm the one that had to put all the work into it. Being slightly over weight all my life I've tried this pill I've tried that pill but it's tough to know which one is right for you. Finally after a long search I found

adipex diet pills they seem to work the best for me. You be the judge. Check out and compare for yourself.

Playing Cootie Bug Game

Okay kids its time to play Cootie! have you ever played Cootie Games? Its where you roll the dice to receive plastic bug parts to build your own personalized bug. This game is been around from at least 1970 that I know of. Made by the Milton Bradley Company. Its always been one of my favorite toy companies growing up besides Mattel they had the most selection of fun toys.
PS. When you get sick of Cooties try the game ants in your pants.

Online university

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

After fifteen years of my husband working for the same corporation the company was down sizing. He missed out on the first down sizing. Then they turned around two years after that and gave him the choice of keeping his job but relocating to another country. What kind of choice is that? Starting over in this economy is extremely hard. The employers out there of course want the best of the best for nothing. He turned to an online university to increase his odds and hopefully his salary. The online mba seem to do the trick. My husband has a lifetime of experience but he lacked the MBA to prove it. The financial aid through this institution was the biggest thing that enticed us.

Spring Lilac candle fragrance

Air fresheners come and go so many different styles so many different aromas. Still nothing gives off a better fragrance than lighting candles in the house. One of my cravings when it comes to food is "I gotta have my fish". The only problem is my husband doesn't like fish. I open all the windows and cook it while he's out. The candles are the last resort before he comes home. Lilac aroma seems to cover up all fish smells.

RV repair

Newton's law...when something can go wrong it will go wrong. (on earth as it is in heaven) I presume. (lol!) We have our RV completely gone over. To make sure everything was working correctly but there's always that one unforeseen thing. Technically everything was working fine. but as we discovered we needed more rv repair after our motor started skipping real bad. They found that it was a broken ground strap to the motor. Diagnoses time three hours. To fix it ten minutes.

Using Lysol for disinfectant

We don't mean to be paranoid but with all this viruses out there its even thought to go to the supermarket. What's the world coming to you might have to wear rubber gloves and respirator to go to the grocery store. Besides hand sanitisers an old products that has been on the market for many years is Lysol killing 99.9 percent of germs. I think we should take stock in the product . with all the germs around they all gonna be selling a lot more.

Order fulfillment

Starting a business per say wasn't a hard part. Getting a DBA which stands for Doing Business As certificate was exciting for me. That turned out to be an easy part. The orders that people placed originally came to me first I would re-box and re-label each one. This took lots of time from my product inventory expansion. But once I found order fulfillment a ton of weight was lifted off my shoulder. More time to expand my business now.

Home Depot Work Bench

The best thing growing up for a little guy we found for a building experience is his little home depot work bench. He sees daddy fixing this and fixing that. His dad is a carpenter by trade. After a while though he has learned that his tools aren't really real. He wants the real stuff! When my husband was little he had his toy tools but they were fully functional like the big ones. His tools might have been smaller but they were made of steel and he had real nails to fix all of his little project.

Outer Banks vacation

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

We're so jealous sometimes every other year my daughter and her husband go on an Outer Bank vacation. We always know when its coming up because they reserve our truck. It's a special little truck. They only made 4300 of them. It's a 1999 Isuzu VehiCross. This truck goes anywhere including getting them to their camp at Outer Banks. We love seeing the pictures that they bring back. One of these days hopefully we'll have the time to go.

Lego Blocks toys

My husband says when he was growing up one of the most valuable toys to him was his Lego blocks. He looks back and explains how much engineering he learned from these simple designs. And the hours of fun he would have designing houses then making them out of Lego Blocks to impress his mom. We have carried on the tradition with our son. A lot of toys come and go but Lego Blocks are here forever.

Best eye cream for dark circles

Monday, November 9, 2009

Just like a car it gets older and always in need of repair. I thought I was covering everything by eating the right foods let alone how long it took me to find the proper vitamins for my system. I've invested a lot of money into facial creams and body washes. At least I'm nice and silky soft. I found the other day what I think is the best eye cream for dark circles. This product amazes me on how fast they disappear.

Birthday preparation

Here comes the long day. Setting up for a birthday party starts at least two days earlier looking for a present. It's hard these days looking for a present for someone that's older. Buying a card is fun but just putting a gift certificate inside is kinda impersonal. But for the short time that you have you may have to. I'm also making dinner for everyone so it's going to be stressful few days of preparations.

Austin weight loss

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

I started out I was a little over weight not much in my teens considering all the junk food I ate I was doing fine. I met my husband to be for a while we went out to to three nights a week. Between eating all the elaborate food and having a couple of beers, my weight started to add up on me. So I needed a little trimming down. I shopped around and found austin weight loss. I had tried a few things getting to this point. The programs worked for a while but didn't in a long run.

How we celebrated Halloween '09

Sunday, November 1, 2009

Halloween is one of our happy times of the year I think its because everybody seems to love to dress up. We had a lot of fun walking around our road house to house collecting candy with the kids. It's really our son's first year at three years old to know whats really going on. At least he knows that people give you cho-co-late :-). After the first two houses, he's got the system down. We pulled him and his sister around in the red wagon. Being it was dark out we attached two battery lanterns one to the front one to the rear of the wagon. So cars going by could see us. Up the hill from us Doug, our neighbor goes all out every year building a scary ghostly hunted house. It starts in his driveway, the path leads you to a big U-turn in his garage. Then out in the front lawn. Friends of his fill-in as monsters and ghost to scare you. His wife is even dressed up as a witch. There are lots of scream at Doug's house specially when they try to grab you. Poor little Jarred his first experience with the monsters! ahhhh.... and screaming "Where is the way out Daddy? Where is the way out Daddy?"

Finance job search

Wednesday, October 28, 2009

It's been twenty plus years since my husband has had to search for work. The company that he been with had finally closed their doors. We didn't really see the economy going down hill until it hit our house with the loss of his job. He had never made up a resume' in his life.
Finance job search resumes' are tough to do. We sent them out. The trouble with making up resume' ahead of time is that everyone has to be a little different focusing on the exact criteria of the new company. My husband's skills are intense he crosses over many different skills over the last thirty years.

Gander Mountain attire

Trying to get something done in the rain outside that's very important is horrible. My husband had a set of all rain gear. It's so ridiculous I don't know what's worse having freezing rain come down on you or sweating to death in a rubber suit. We decided to gear up, we went to a hunting store, and found top of the line nylon knit breathable rain suits. Now we're good to go.

Walk in tubs

You can't help but love today's unique designs when it comes to kitchens and baths. The hardest part of doing any renovation obviously is picking out your product. You might find the right tub or sink and then it comes to picking out the faucets, are you going to go simplicity or elaborate? A lot of times its the cost. Looking at walk in tubs for a client took quite sometime considering we're the nice guys. We picked her up took her to the store on three separate occasions. It was all worth it when the bathroom turned out to be a miniature work of art.

Cold November rain

What a pain the neck. Another rainy cold day. One of the things that they say for sure in New York State is there's always cold November rain and this year we started early. We had noticed that the small part of our roof in the back that faces the sun all the time was deteriorated. My husband started stripping it unfortunately he got caught up in the rain. The project that should have took six hours is now going take two days.

New York accident lawyers

Monday, October 26, 2009

My husband was telling me of a story that happened to a good friend of his. Talk about a weird accident. The friend had pulled in to get gas at a local convenient station. It was like somebody put a hex on a place. A lady on a main road had a heart attack her car swerved towards the gas station. A man was hopping out of his car his door open he hopped back in as the lady's car smashed his door it then pushed his car forward. It hit my husband's friend's car smashing the bumper. being this was such an intricate accident the friend had used New York accident lawyers before and recommended them to the other driver.

Clearing out the sceptic tank nightmare

Its not a nice thing when you get up in the morning. You go in the bathroom to do your usual business I flush the toilet it didn't go down. So I use the plunger and still it didn't go down. My husbands worst fear were realized when he spent three hours digging up the sceptic tank. After he found the exact location it was full. On a weekday, it would cost only a hundred twenty five dollars to get it pumped. Being we were in the weekend, it cost two hundred fifteen dollars. But hey you can't live without cleared drains.

Life insurance rates

Thursday, October 22, 2009

Now that my husband is fastly approaching fifty, something that we should have done a long time ago was to do up a will God forbid you never know what the next corner will bring you in life. We were looking at our life insurance policies . They seemed a little high in price so we decided to shop around for life insurance rates. We couldn't believe the difference in companies. All we can tell everybody is that smoking extremely increases your monthly payment immensely.

Snow globes fascination

Every time we go on a trip its nice to collect souvenirs. My husband likes collecting coffee cups from each location that we go to but myself I've always had a fascination with snow globes. I love shaking them and staring into them that reminds me of the trip even from vacations of years ago. I can still go back just by staring into the globes. Memories are priceless.

Car Insurance

Saving money is very important these days. It seems that we're shopping around for everything. You can be very driven when it comes to saving money. Because of our energy high pricing combining trips to the store we figured would save us at least five hundred dollars a year. Shopping around for car insurance saves us two hundred and eighty four dollars on two vehicles. Altogether we came up with twenty one hundred dollars of savings from one day of brainstorming.

Scary deadly H1N1

What's the world coming to? Eventually you're not going to want to go to the store. We wash our hands all the time. We even wipe down the shopping cart with hand sanitizer. We take precautions not to even go to the relatives without calling making sure they don't have bad colds or the flu. I think everybody should be more paranoid about germs specially with the flu season coming up. It's a scary thought that you could just go to the store and end up with a deadly disease.

Acne treatment

Friday, October 16, 2009

It's been many many years fighting my problem. So many different products promise you this and promise you that. I even change my diet three different times. I had some super tough acne. Most of it due to my environment. Ninety degree heat and the dusty grime of the city. Throw a little Asian cuisine in there, the combination was horrible for bad acne. I ran into an acne treatment online that was different than others. Decided to give it a try and amazingly after all this years I was cured. My mother can't believe the difference in my face.

World's deadliest catch

Watching T.V. the other day, usually can't find much to watch. I'm always getting stuck on the history channel or when I'm bored with that I go to discovery channel. Clicking through the channels the other day, I happened to see a program "world's deadliest catch". The men and women that work on these big ships to bring in the biggest sea food catch of the year. They got to be crazy! Fighting the sub-zero weather and water of the seas around Alaska is insane. As I'm watching it a large wave completely engulfed the boat head on sweeping one of the men off the deck. Thank god he had a life line on so he can pull him back in. My nerves in my stomach were so shot watching this program but I had to. To have a feel for what they go through.

Poison on plastics

When I was growing up we had very little of what you would call true toys to enjoy. Most of them were wood some pieces made of metal. A lot was hand painted. In today's world almost everything is plastic. Plastic this plastic that. The list goes on. There's plastics in your rug, plastics in your couch, thirty to forty percent is even in your vehicle. What most of the world doesn't know are plastics are derived from oil. If we cut back twenty percent of our plastics manufacturer we could pick up forty percent of our gas shortages from the savings. We want to let you know that a lot of plastics contain poisons that only come to you in trace elements the government seems to think this is okay. Plastics have been related to cancer and Alzheimer's disease.

Furnace filters

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

It's always really important before the cold season gets here to change your furnace filters. Actually we start out with longer process of pulling our cold air ducts apart. Spraying them down with a Lysol type product and then with a high powered vacuum cleaner we suck out all the dirt and grime. You also have a piece of mind knowing that you killed any germs that might have been hanging around in there.

Toxins of the mouth

Here is another reason to take extremely good care of your teeth. They found new results that about ten type of cancers in the body are directly related to teeth. Not just good teeth but your bad teeth. It seems the point is when you have your teeth pulled it leaves a little sockets open in your jaw bone. Even they cleaned them all as much as possible and have you on antibiotics. Most of the times it doesn't cure the toxins that are in the sockets slowly spreading the toxins through your blood stream causing all sorts of problems. What's even worse is when you have a root canal the problem can be ten times that or more from a single tooth. There are specialty dentist out there that will try to do a better job but the ruling is out there is no safe root canal.

A trip to the dentist

Thursday, October 1, 2009

The other day I felt sick in a way my throat hurt my glands in my neck were swollen so much that it gave me a stiff neck . I kept on thinking it was an ear infection because it tickled inside. I was gonna go to the doctors but them my husband asked me how did my teeth feel. And I told him about a week ago I had a tooth ache come to find out it was an infection in one of my teeth so the trip to the dentist and an antibiotic took care of everything.

HGH supplements

Sunday, September 27, 2009

My husband hit the big four O a while back and recently he said that now he knows the feeling of getting old. He takes to look at his Dad and he doesn't want to end up that way. Even though sooner or later age catches up with everybody. The only thing you can do is try to detour it from coming sooner than later. He gets lots of exercise, takes his vitamin, and eats right but still feels that sluggish feeling for a lack of energy. After discovering the hgh supplements now its myself that has to keep up with him. His energy levels has doubled and he is getting a full eight hours of un-interrupted sleep now.

Designing Christmas cards

On a boring dreary rainy fall day with not much to do I decided to start making up our Christmas cards. Working with the PC, I took a lot of the pictures and transfer them into some hysterical funny pictures. Using Paintshop and Kodak Easy Share program some of the silly things I came up with just being a little creative my husband was amazed.

Ceramic tiles

Saturday, September 26, 2009

When we moved in to our new house the bathroom floor looked good at the time. It was just linoleum. The floor held up for a while to our three year old's splashing. what we didn't know was that the contractor cut the linoleum to the edge of the tub instead of putting the tub down on top of it. So the edge was very vulnerable to water after a small corner of the caulking shrunk back.
So my husband went about stripping the floor and proceeded to replace the linoleum with some beautiful ceramic tiles. He even recruited me to put the grout down and days later sealed the floor with the special grout sealer so no water can penetrate the nice job we did.

College days

I couldn’t believe it when my husband told me some of his spring break stories. The things they did, the stuff they got away with, and how much beer they drink in weeks time at Fort Lauderdale. My husband and one of his friends at college went in half’s on renting the room. At the end of the second night they had re-rented the room to an extra ten people at a hundred dollars a night. he said it paid for all the booze. Those worse and the wild times. The heat was incredible that week along with the air-conditioned broke down in the room after partying for two days straight he said he fell asleep in the tub with the shower on for six hours its incredible to imagine this unbelievable.

Dog ramps

Saturday, September 19, 2009

I remember our two German dogs when they were young, we used to walk almost half a mile into the woods to go sliding during the winter on the tabagon and they could pull our two little kids all the way down to our favorite sliding place. Not to mention the fun we used to have ice skating on the pond in the back woods. By the time we got back every muscle in my body ached from the cold in the deep snow. Our two shepherds as they age were the talk of the neighborhood. We had dog ramps to get them in and out of the pick up truck. These guys went everywhere with us and they still weigh heavy on our hearts these days when we see another German shepherd.

Danger lurks

One of our favorite fun past times is hooking up our little trailer to our four wheeler and taking little trips through what my kids call "the jungle" down back. We always take one or three paths that we made through the woods not thinking of any dangers. What I didn't notice was both of the kids sat on one side of the wagon usually that's fine. But what I didn't see was a soft tire on the trailer. We went down the hill hit the bump and the trailer flip on its side. Thank God it didn't flip over on them. As it flip on the side they rolled out I continued to go down hill away from them which actually help to pull the wagon away from them. The only unfortunate thing that happened was they landed in a brier patch. Lots of scratches some little bruises but they're okay. They both have helmets on always.

Wrinkle cream

Thursday, September 17, 2009

Getting a little older in life can be a real drag. There's extra word all over the place so I'm starting early on this as a preventive maintenance program. I've always worried about what the sun has damage to my skin. But I've been checked out and everything is fine. From hot oil treatments from my hair to using the wrinkle cream on some specific spots. And taking better care of my teeth I hope to be good to at least 80 or so. Lets hope.

L.L. Bean winter fashion

Moving to the United States I never realize what cold really was until I came to new York State. Originally with my lighter clothing I couldn't stay outdoors more than five minutes in the winter. halfway through the winter my husband took me to a store to fully deck me out in the latest warmest winter fashions. L.L.Bean has the most beautiful warm and fuzzy clothing I ever worn in my life. I'm so bundled up now I look like I'm 50 pounds heavier with my styling clothes.

Free online storage

Every three or four years in a sense our computer extremely slows down. we do the standard deletions, de-fragments, re-arranging things on our hard drive to make programs run faster but sometimes to no avail. Our problem is storage in the computer. So we end up going out and buying a bigger better computer. The free online storage is so much more reasonable and easy to do. Ff we would have known about this sooner we would have saved thousands.

Monosodium Glutamate

Do you think you should believe your doctor? On-going for years my husband had been back and forth to the doctors for different test different medications for burning upper stomach ache. It wasn't heartburn and it wasn't an ulcer. A lot of pills they put him in. The pain would go away some will lead him sleepy some would leave him with a different kind of stomach ache. We invited the new people that just moved in across the street over for dinner one night. And she said a couple of the dishes that we were serving she couldn't eat because it had (MSG) in it. A preservative that upset her stomach. Me and my husband started watching out for MSG and unbelievably cured himself. We were so frustrated my husband had to go back and voice his opinion to his doctor after all these years.

Lip gloss

Saturday, September 5, 2009

Being we were outdoors spending most of the time this summer, I always carry lip gloss with me to help moisturize my lips. When outdoors my lips tends to get dry so using lip gloss help to get rid of the dryness. It also protects from the UV and restore chapped lips. My husband likes me to wear the super shiny red. He says the color really compliments the color of my lips makes them looking wet.

Déjà vu

You just got to love it when every time you're doing something, something turned out differently. Usually, I don't have any problem sending money using that website. A friend of mine recommended it to me and been using it for many years now. The transaction is so fast but I was so frustrated when I learned that my Sis wasn't able to get the money. So I called the company to find out why and said they weren't able to pull out funds from my account. Why? So I called my credit card company to find out. I was good to them ever since and no problem in paying on time. More frustration comes up after being on the phone for almost one hour on hold total from changing one customer service representative to the other switching from one department to the other. Grrr!!! Just wanted to get my money back after my credit card charge me. It's like Déjà vu . It happened to me one now it happened again. After I settle this. I promised I will never do the same mistake again.

Apidexin review

Thursday, September 3, 2009

My husband haven't tried it yet but we've heard a lot of good things about apidexin. He spent many years fighting his overweight problem even though he had been on a special diet. He'd been told that he have multiple embalances in his system. It gets to be a little dreary after a while. So many different diagnosis. He just want to wake up and be thin again. Sometimes he even dream that he is and then he wake up. How depressing. We searched out apidexin and found apidexin review online and this product seems to fit his needs so there's hope again for his crusade to lose weight.

Vinyl siding

What a difference! After painting the house over and over again the husband and I decided it was time for a change. We went out to Lowe's and Home Depot and check on vinyl siding cost and how to install. It's not that hard actually. You just need a level, tape, measure, and a big set of funky looking scissors. I didn't realize there was so many different parts that were involve in the siding though. There's starter strip which is the piece that you have to level all the way around the house to begin your courses of vinyl siding then there's outside corners that you have to level up on the four corners of your house. Then there's also J-channel that goes in the inside corners it also goes at the top underneath your eves. All in all it's pretty simple if you know how to use the tape measure and the level. Just remember to get the bubble of the level in the center of the lines on the level exactly and you'll be okay unless your house is very crooked to begin with. Lesson learned.

Sconce

Sometimes it's hard to figure out the right lighting for the particular area. The overhead lighting in this area just shadowed everything in the wrong way. You change the light fixture multiple times different styles of bulbs leaded glass curve lenses just didn't work for what we wanted in this area. We decided to put a glass log fireplace in this area so it would broke up the wall differently for lighting. We used four sconce in that area and the shadows were gone and the lighting was perfect finally.

Toy Land

Our children's world revolve around. You might as well keep half of a truck load of spares around just when you think you have the situation covered with five different kinds of batteries they come up with a new one. Our play land outdoors for the kids gets bigger every month. Between a wrangler jeep a john deer tractor and the kawasaki four wheeler, the children have quite a life for playing with these. Whatever happened too you have to pedal it to where you're going. And when our son outgrows these its time for Sissy's hand me down which is a one ten gas four wheeler. Hopefully it survives for Jarred to play with.

Digital cameras

Two weekends ago we went on a camping trip to the Adirondacks. Amazingly beautiful country, you find yourself stopping at almost every turn in the road to view the scenery. Good thing we had extra SD card because after taking the first three hundred shots the memory was full in our digital cameras and we had to switch cards. We got to our camp site started setting up early evening and wouldn't you know it about a hundred foot away a black bear wondered through another camp. Needless to say everybody hopped in the truck. We had fun but I don't think any body slept very well that night.

Deleted employee

Employers! Can't leave without them can't live with them you would think bigger business would know the proper rules and regulations to when it comes to paying overtime. You work your butt off an extra fifteen hours a week and your boss tells you you can take comp time and I'm like excuse me I'm suppose to get overtime time and a half. He says oh no we give you comp time you can take a couple of days off next week. So you get into an argument about the situation and all they do is turn around and fire you if you don't take it their way. Its ridiculous that even when you go to the dept. of labor no one can give you a straight answer these days. So onward to the next job.

Free seo services

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

Are you aspiring to be on the top page of searches? If you do here's a tool where you can get free seo services to boost your website ranking. My friend told me about these things a long time ago but I was so lax in doing it now I'm regretful. Upon reading the advantages of being in the front page instead of being buried in the back pages of searches I decided to register my site with the big hope that it will make a big difference to my site.

Two Family House for sale

I couldn't believe that its been many months now that our house hasn't been sold yet so I went online and re-d0 the ads that we put in hoping that someone will see the ads there. The house is very ideal if someone is looking forward to live in the city where the house is located. For the price that we offer it is really great since you can turn this into a rental house with great rental of fourteen hundred a month. Two family 2 storey house, I call it as miniature castle. Its a great deal because an extra lot is included.

Watching you

I heard this song not long ago and I fall in love with this song instantly. I love country songs and this one is another tear jerker. Its a nice song and every time I hear it I looked at my three year old son and looked at my husband. The song portrays just like them, my son watching on his dad. It's so sweet.

"Watching You" is a single by country music artist Rodney Atkins. Released in late 2006, the single became Rodney's second number-one single on the Billboard U.S. Hot Country Songs chart. "Watching You" was named the number-one song of 2007 on Billboard's year-end chart" (source: wikipedia.org )

Artist(Band):Rodney Atkins

Driving through town just my boy and me
With a happy meal in his booster seat
Knowing that he couldn't have the toy
Till his nuggets were gone
A Green traffic light turned straight to red
I hit on my brakes and mumbled under my breath
As fries went a flying and his orange drink covered his lap
Well then my four year old said a four letter word
It started with "s" and I was concerned
So I said son now where'd you learn to talk like that

Chorus one

He said I've been watching you dad, ain't that cool
I'm your buckaroo, I wanna be like you
And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are
We got cowboy boots and camo pants
Yeah we're just alike, hey ain't we dad
I wanna do everything you do
So I've been watching you

We got back home and I went to the barn
I bowed my head and I prayed real hard
Said Lord please help me help my stupid self
Then this side of bedtime later that night
Turning on my son's scooby doo nightlight
He crawled out of bed and he got down on his knees
He closed his little eyes, folded his little hands
Spoke to God like he was talking to a friend
And I said son now where'd you learn to pray like that

Chorus two

He said I've been watching you dad, ain't that cool
I'm your buckaroo, I wanna be like you
And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are
We like fixing things and holding mama's hand
Yeah we're just alike, hey ain't we dad
I wanna do everything you do
So I've been watching you

Bridge

With tears in my eyes I wrapped him in a hug
Said my little bear is growing up
And he said but when I'm big I'll still know what to do

Chorus three

Cause I've been watching you dad, ain't that cool
I'm your buckaroo, I wanna be like you
And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are
Then I'll be as strong as superman
We'll be just alike, hey won't we dad
When I can do everything you do

Because I've been watching you
Hey yeah.. uh huh

Hand dryers

Public washrooms are equipped with hand dryers whether an electric dryer or the traditional paper towel to dry your hands. But then more and more establishments have been reducing the cost of supplies and maintenance that having an electric hand dryer in public washrooms are effective in cutting off the cost instead of paper towels. These alternative is also environmentally friendly since it saves the trees (cutting trees that turned into paper towels) . It only frustrates me sometimes when they have old ones installed that barely works. Some establishments should look into installing high-speed dryers for more efficiency.

I spy...

Thursday, August 13, 2009

It's when during those times where you get bored playing same old games over and over again. This morning is no different from the other day. So to entertain my three year old we step out of the house brought my camera with us and we played I spy in our backyard. We saw the chipmunk on top of our jet ski chirping seems like calling his brothers. He stayed there for a while while we were watching. Later in the day we saw a bunny. Its nice to watch the creatures its entertaining specially for my little one.

Happy 3rd Birthday Jarred!

Jarred's third birthday falls on our family reunion August 2nd. It would be a rip off for him if we have done it on the same day at the reunion so we decided to do his birthday party on the following week. His birthday party was a blast. Thanks for everyone who shared and celebrated our son's special day.

Weight loss pills that work

Tuesday, August 4, 2009

My friend must have a five hundred dollar of useless pills believe this, believe that, believe the other. And then she try them they don't work is what she complained. Her husband gets a little frustrated of her trying different ones all the time. But then again he tries all new herbal sleep aids because no one's ever figure it out why you can't sleep very good. But finally she was happy when she found weight loss pills that work and the weight to my amazement is staying off.

Fly away dragonfly

This picture of my three year old son reminds me of my childhood. Loves running in the back yard from catching crawling insects to flying insects. My son enjoyed more in trying to catch those colorful dragonflies and butterflies patiently. The dragonfly flying around seems to be wanting to be alone so Mommy had to catch it for him. His smile is priceless after that. It's every little kids adventures. Being a kid is so much fun but time goes by so fast. Don't blink and enjoy every moment with your children and family.

Cash for gold

We had so many pieces of broken jewelry 10, 18, 24 karat gold. With our interest rate climbing on our mortgage, gas prices climbing, food prices climbing you might as well say everything climbing in price. We were lucky to have our little stash of gold. Some of our pieces we would of like to keep but it cost so much to fix them we had to let them go. We answered an add on the internet at http://www.gold-cash.com/ . It was so easy. We filled out our information. They gave us instructions, they sent us a fedex box with a prepaid label, we took pictures of our gold and listed it piece by piece packed it all up, sent it to them and we received our cash for gold it was a big help with all of our bills.

Visiting a friend

I was happy after my husband came home from work that day when he informed me that he met a filipina at the property where he work. That means I'm going to have a new friend close by. It's only 35 minutes drive if I wanted to visit her, so today me and Jarred visited her and spent whole day at my new friend's house. Now we have an instant relative. My son Jarred called her grandma Linda. It feels like I'm back home again in the Phi.

Sale

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

Who wouldn't want to save money? Considering how the present economy affects everyone these days I think most of us want to shave off some money. It pays to shop around but you have to watch out for what quality you are looking for. You can find great buys online on sale if you really put effort on your search and then find the ones with the best quality. I'm a fanatic of online deals and most of the time I am happy to the online shopping deals that I got.

Sun Parasol Plant

I love surprises so when my husband called me on the phone from work  saying that he have a surprise for me, I got real excited and encouraged him to tell me what it was but my convincing power is not enough I guess. What's the sense of a surprise if he tells me right? So I have to wait until he comes home. He handed me a plant on a pot. This plant is called Sun Parasol. So pretty...

Sun Parasol plants are known for their vigor, weather tolerance, continuous blooming, disease resistance and ease of growing. These plants perform brilliantly in a garden situation as well as in containers, in windows, on patios and in hanging baskets. I love this plant.

Pond pumps

Tuesday, July 21, 2009

We always want to have a nice pond right in our backyard and for us it's a perfect spot to build it for entertainment. We like our backyard and it will be more enjoyable for us to stay on the area watching the fishes swimming on the pond. There were things to consider for pond construction such as location, safety, the cost and design. We realized its a little costly for us so we decided to gather the materials little by little while shopping around for pond pumps that we are going to use.

Acne treatment

It's not fun to have persistent acne which does happen to some people in their adolescence as well as adults. In fact I was one of those unlucky people who have suffered from mild to persistent acne. I've tried some products but only giving me false hope and only gets worse. Until me and my husband had decided to seek for a dermatologist help for acne treatment. I am thankful to end my problem.

Parting with my baby stuff

Monday, July 20, 2009

It's tough to part with things you loved so much because of the memories you have with it. Cleaning up my son's closet the other day and deciding which one to keep is hard for me. It is tough to let go especially with those cute little baby stuff. But I had to do what I should do so. The clothes will end up in the drop box at the church for donation. I realized when knowing that somebody can make use of them makes me feel better.

The curiousity of little mind

There's never been a more fun time before our little boy than to tear apart and re-build our train track over and over again. Geo-track trains and a track have so many different designs its almost endless. The parts are all snapped together sometimes Jarred takes it on his own to unbuild and build a new track. His creative little mind is always spinning out some kind of design that's different and his at that age where every answer to every question is imprinted into that little mind.

Thunder

I read somewhere about thunderstorm that when you see lighting, it has already missed you. But when you hear thunder the show is over which means the noise is just the audience rushing for the exits. It is funny but the roar of thunder still makes me rush inside and seek the protection of the house. This was happened this morning when Jarred and I went out so he can play in the yard while I was weed whacking. Its very sunny then about ten minutes later the clouds went darker and we heard the thunder so immediately we run inside. The loud thunder scared the heck out of us! (lol)

Outdoor chaise lounges

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Lounging outside is never been comfortable these days with all the different designs. If you talk about comfort I'd like to put some of them inside in my living room. I've tried a lot of different outdoor chaise lounges over the years, I like the wicker chairs comfortability the best. When my mom and dad come over for a cook out the only problem is trying to get dad out of my chair. After he eats it's nap time usually about two hours later I get to use my chair again. Oh well it's only couple of weekends I guess I just have to buy another for him. :-)

Lunar Moth

Friday, June 19, 2009

Have you seen a real and alive glow in the dark lunar moth? We did! We saw a green lunar moth just outside our door, one is hanging out by the lightbulb casing and the other one below it seems holding on tight on our siding.

Mystified by this wonderful sight, I searched for its origin and this is what I learned from the Wikipedia.
The Luna Moth (Actias luna) is a lime-green, Nearctic Saturniid moth in the subfamily Saturniinae. This moth is found in North America from east of the Great Plains in the United States to northern Mexico and from Manitoba eastward through central Quebec to Nova Scotia in Canada. Based on the climate in which they live, the Luna moths produce differing numbers of generations. In Canada and northern regions, they can live up to 7 days and will produce only one generation per year. These reach adulthood from early June to early July. In the northeastern United States around New Jersey or New York, the moths produce two generations each year. The first of these appear in April and May, and the second group can be seen approximately nine to eleven weeks later. In the southern United States, there can be as many as three generations. These are spaced every eight to ten weeks beginning in March.
Female Luna moths lay 100–300 eggs, 4–7 eggs at a time, on the underside of leaves, and they incubate for eight to thirteen days, depending on climate. It will lay more eggs in a better climate.
Each instar generally takes about five days to a week to complete. After hatching, the caterpillars tend to wander around before finally settling on eating the particular plant they are on. These caterpillars tend to be gregarious for the first two to three instars, but separate and live independently after that. As with all Saturniids, these caterpillars go through five instars before cocooning. At the end of each instar, a small amount of silk is placed on the major vein of a leaf and undergoes apolysis. The caterpillar then undergoes ecdysis, or molts from that position leaving the old exoskeleton behind. Sometimes the shed exoskeleton is eaten. Each instar is green, though the first two instars do have some variation in which some caterpillars will have black underlying splotches on their dorsal side. Variation after the second instar is still noticeable, but slight. The dots that run along the dorsal side of the caterpillars vary from a light yellow to a dark magenta. The final instar grows to approximately nine centimeters in length.
The luna moth pupates after spinning a cocoon. The cocoon is thin and single layered. Shortly before pupation, the final, fifth instar caterpillar will engage in a "gut dump" where any excess water and fluids are expelled. The caterpillar will also have an underlying golden reddish brown color and become somewhat immobile. As pupa, this species is particularly active. When disturbed, the moth will wiggle loudly. Pupation takes approximately two weeks unless the individual is diapausing. The mechanisms for diapause are generally a mixture of genetic triggers, duration of sunlight or direct light during the day, and temperature.
Adults eclose, or emerge from their cocoons in the morning. Their wings are very small when they first emerge and they must enlarge them by pumping bodily fluids through them. During this time, their wings will be soft and they must climb somewhere safe to wait for their wings to harden before they can fly away. This process takes about 2 hours to complete. The Luna moth has a wingspan of between 8–11.5 cm (3-4.5 in) with long, tapering hindwings, which have eyespots on them in order to confuse potential predators. Although rarely seen due to their very brief (1 week) adult lives, Luna moths are considered common. As with all Saturniidae, the adults do not eat or have mouths. They emerge as adults solely to mate, and as such, only live approximately one week. They are more commonly seen at night.

Philippine Independence Flag

Monday, June 8, 2009

I grab this tag from my "Kababayan" Fe and now I am passing this to all the filipino bloggers around the world. Let's celebrate the freedom that we are all enjoying.

PHILIPPINE 111TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

"The Philippine Declaration of Independence occurred on June 12, 1898 in the Philippines, where Filipino revolutionary forces under General Emilio Aguinaldo (later to become the Philippines' first Republican President) proclaimed the sovereignty and independence of the Philippine Islands from the colonial rule of Spain after the latter was defeated at the Battle of Manila Bay during the Spanish-American War. The declaration, in the form of a proclamation, in the presence of a huge crowd, was done on June 12, 1898 at the ancestral home of General Emilio Aguinaldo between four and five in the afternoon in Cavite el Viejo (now Kawit), Cavite, some 30 kilometers South of Manila. The event saw the unfurling of the National Flag of the Philippines, made in Hong Kong by Mrs. Marcela Agoncillo, Lorenza Agoncillo and Delfina Herboza, and the performance of the Marcha Filipina Magdalo, as the Nation's National Anthem, now known as Lupang Hinirang, which was composed by Julian Felipe and played by the San Francisco de Malabon Marching band."

Bathroom safety products

Saturday, June 6, 2009

As my father-in-law got older we had to come up with quite a few modifications to his house. The first things that we needed to get were for his mobility. His deteriorating strength in his muscles in his legs were most devastating. First the canes then the rolling walker and then unfortunately a wheel chair. He does have enough strength to get basically up and down out of a chair but when it came to the bathroom we had to add a lot of bathroom safety products. To include three stainless steel grab bars along with a taller toilet with the safety seat. Now he feel secured.

Fruit preservation

What's up with fruits these days? It used to be taking care of the freshness of fruits in your refrigerator was an on going job to insure the freshness of them. These days you go on the store and buy some apple in particularly. We had one left over that set on the top shelf for about ten weeks and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it when we got into it. We have found out since that its a coating they sprayed on the fruits to preserve them longer so there is less waste and the longer shelf life to sell them in the stores but how good could this be for us all.

PS3 players

Thursday, June 4, 2009

When my stepdaughter bought a new house and started to clean up their old house to move in to their new home they found a lot of playstation games. Her husband is a fanatic of this kind of game but since he have a lot of old ones he gave some to me and I used it on my spare time. He even have the lastest edition of PS3 that he just bought. But for me it's fun to play playstation game once in a while.

Blackheads

Saturday, May 30, 2009

No matter how much we scrub or wash our faces, black heads just seem to appear all over our noses. It is very hard for us not to touch our face and sometimes we are unconscious that we put our hands in our face. Treatments for facial problems such as blackheads have gotten increasingly sophisticated in the past few decades and with combinations of medications it may help prevent the breakouts.

Panda funny video

My husband found this video this morning while he was browsing online. It is so hilarious you will have a stomach ache from laughing. This is oh so good! Check this out. :-)

Delta faucet sale

Friday, May 29, 2009

When we were renovating our house we realized we need to change the bathroom and kitchen sink faucets. Due to old age it rusted out and the water is leaking. Since changing it will cost us anyhow but then we wanted it to last for a long time so we bought the brand that we trusted for many years. Aside from the better quality we like the design and were happy to have bought the Delta faucet sale online.

Pochero

I was watching my grand daughter today because her mom had a doctors appointment. My son was so happy to play with her since there's not a lot of times when they could play together now that my stepdaughter had moved in to their new house. To make our lunch super easy I just cooked rice, pochero, and macaroni n' cheese just in case my grand daughter doesn't want to eat Filipino food. This is my own style of pochero, a little bit of this and a little bit of that. (l0l!)

Garage sales

Tuesday, May 26, 2009

Going through a bunch of stuff on garage sales are so much fun. For me its like a treasure hunt. You just have to search thoroughly and you'll be surprised on what you can find. So yesterday after we left Jessica's party we stopped by on a garage sale and found these set of perfume and an Nsync CD. For the fair price, its not bad to add up in my collection.

Wireless router

I like the concept of a wireless router device that we used to hook up for our Internet connection. For many many years we been using the linksys wireless-G Broadband router because of the advantages that this device can give. We have the main computer hooked up in the office, and the other computer in our bedroom but we can easily connect to the main. Through this it lets our whole network share on a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection and we can share files with hassle free.

Are you into "LOST"?

We are hooked up on the TV series "LOST" but these days we are pretty much occupied with our small business along with my husband who is working on his new job, so we missed some of the episodes. The good news is we can still watch the previous shows after my husbands brother's wife told us to go to ABC's web site where they have the free episodes of season 5. So if you love watching LOST you might want to check on it too.

Travel insurance quote

Monday, May 18, 2009

When my fiance' decided to meet me for the first time it was a long battle at first for him to decide to fly over to the Philippines. He was scared of the unknown because he never been to the Philippines and scared what could happen. He knows no one except me over there along with being on the plane for twenty four hours. So he searched for a travel insurance quote to make sure he has a travel protection plan. I believe that it is of utmost importance for everyone to apply for a travel insurance plan when traveling to foreign country.

I was craving to eat puto so I google the recipe. It was just a simple recipe and easy to make. My son can't wait to eat the puto on the table. He is about ready to get the first bite.

You need to prepare:

How to make puto with cheese:

Frontline

Sunday, May 10, 2009

We have a Himalayan cat, a very old cat but at ten years of age HR Puff which stands for Harry Robert Puff is very gentle to every one. Every morning Puff would rub his body to our feet and ask for his milk then after drinking he would lay down on the stairs and looking down on us. Jarred liked him so much for he could hug and pet him without running away from him. One day Puff got sick. We brought him to the animal clinic to check on him. Thank goodness for without the help of the veterinarian and the Frontline medicine Puff would still be sick.

Received a package from the Philippines

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Okay, so I thought I lost the package from the Philippines again for the second time. I'm sorry but since the last time that we were expecting a package from my sister who lived in the Philippines and it didn't arrive from the mail I get very anxious on mails that comes from another country. We wait and wait but nothing arrive. It happened last December and I have this doubt that the package was lost somewhere again. I bought a bleaching soap online that comes from Pampanga and I was getting anxious as the days passed by. I was relieved when our mail person dropped the package on our doorstep today. I bought it April 6 and today is April 29. That's how long it took for the package to get here. On the other hand I'm glad that it's here finally.

Diet pill

Thursday, April 23, 2009

It seems that not a day goes by that we do not hear about how some people struggle to lose weight. Problem is getting hungry all the time is the reason why it makes us eat and eat. And choices of bad food while sitting in front of the television or computer screen may have resulted to being overweight. Turning into a diet pill for weight loss best works for some that I know, you just have to look for the right one.

Sleeping at work

Since Monday until Wednesday we had been working up to 7 hours a day at work. Jarred had been nice for days being with us. We just brought in lots of toys for him to play with. When he gets bored he helped Mommy clean and helped daddy paint. Daddy was doing the paint job on the wall when he turned for a minute to get something, when he came back Jarred said to his dad. "Daddy I helped you paint". To my husband's dismay he found out that Jarred had painted the wall with the small paint brush. Oh well just have to re-paint the whole thing again. My son finally run out of energy and decided to lie down for a while. Here he is sleeping at work.

Mesothelioma lawyers

My husband says it seems like a whole another lifetime ago when he was fresh out of school that he actually worked for the school system. They had him scraping up glued on floor tiles from the cafeteria of all places. The tiles contained quite a large amount of asbestos fibers. They didn't even give him a paper mask to wear to stop the dust. He remembers wearing an old t-shirt over his mouth and nose to slow down the dust. Mesothelioma lawyers could have helped him understand for tracing back all the people that were involved in my husband’s involvement in this case. At least he'll be getting some help for all the health and hardship that he had been through.

Reading food labels

We were doing our grocery shopping the other day. When you look on the front of the package you'll notice the labels that aren't written in common day to day words. It's like a detective work. It's funny when even sugar goes under lots of names. Ose at the end of a word stands for sugar. There's sucrose (common table sugar), dextrose, and fructose (fruit sugar). It just frustrates me sometimes when they use big scientific words on the labels that I never understand what in the world it is. Unless you went online and consult Merriam-Webster dictionary of course.

Greeting cards online

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Never feeling guilty again. We're always forgetting somebody for the holidays or a birthday. Usually remember on that special day but always too late to mail out something specially my moms birthday. We call her the good witch of the east. Her birthday is on Halloween and at that time of the year we're always running around for different Halloween costumes and products. It's one of our favorite holidays. So even though my mom's birthday should be high on my priority list, sometimes I forget until the exact day is here then I panic. So I was so happy to find greeting cards online. My mom doesn't have a computer but my aunt across the street has one and she will print the card out for me and give it to my mom. After all my mom and dad are thirteen hundred miles away from us. Online greeting cards makes it so convenient for us.

excitement of a new project

Friday, April 17, 2009

Besides from buying two more seats for our sunbird and some vinyl to recover some parts on it, the excitement of re-designing the interior has spark my husband's design mode again. He'll be spending some time making it look nice. At least something to keep him busy so he doesn't buy anything more on ebay. :-)

Phenphedrine review

Thursday, April 16, 2009

Most of us wanted to feel good by looking healthy. On the other hand if we're overweight sometimes we take the chance to take suppressants that we think would help us out on our objective to lose weight. There were many products out there and I think that getting some ideas and learning from the people who have already taken that product would be a head start. It is good to know that they are also doing their search on phenphedrine review from the people who have already taken that kind of diet pill.

Flu still hanging around

It was confirmed by our son's doctor that Jarred had a flu after we rushed him to the medical center the other day. He had a fever going on and off sometimes going up to 106.4 degrees temperature. High fever, runny nose with watery eyes and stuffy nose at night. At that point we are so worried sick of him so we decided to call for an appointment. Apparently, the flu continues to hang around and unluckily our son got it. We stayed at home as much as we can and the only place we been to before he got sick is at the grocery store. Word of advise when you go public places always bring your sanitiser to wipe the germs from your hands after you got hold of objects around you.

Stemulite

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

I've always been somewhat light weight. I tried to keep busy I used to jog around the block at least five times a week and I love rock climbing which we tried to do twice a month. But after getting married and making bigger meals I would tend to eat more not to mention you have to have that snack once in a while. My husband and I planned to have a baby about three years ago so between the extra food and putting on the extra weight for the baby, I ended up just a little out of shape and slightly over weight. I can't wait to try Stemulite to put me back to shape is one thing but to have the extra sleeping power is what I am looking forward to. Trying to catch up in my sleep from my little one waking me up all the time seems to be a long battle and everyone knows that the better sleep you have means for a better life.

I was thrilled with all these colorful and fun summer clothes that we just won on eBay. Daddy was dozing down to sleep but I woke him up to finish the bid for me. I was so nervous about the whole ordeal and bidding on bigger items is new to me. Daddy is an ebayer and he knew the secrets in auctions. Counting the minutes down seems like forever then finally its over with. We won!
